At first jog until very shuang because air very rejuvenating. Halfway I caught up with this man who was taking a leisurely stroll. I was just about to overtake him then next thing I knew, my whole face was enveloped in a cloud of cigarette smoke. what the - . What's the purpose of early morning leisure strolls? It is to exploit the fresh air while you exercise. Exercise in context here, I'm talking about pot-bellied men who resort to tottering along sidewalks because they are unable to go any faster due to anatomical constraints. So why negate the health benefits of morning strolls by smoking? And why intoxicate other joggers (sharing the same peculiar sleeping hours) with your carcinogenic fumes?
I got this from Annalyn's entries. I totally agree with her on the issue. I find that people who smoke in the morning especially at outdoor places. Such as hawker centres and PARKS are totally selfish. They ruin the fresh morning air. And in the case of parks, people go there to get FRESH air, not to take in toxic fumes. In the hawker, I want to enjoy a nice meal without the toxic from smokers.
I think they are very inconsiderate. If you do not wish to mind about your health that is not really my concern. But the innocent people around you have to suffer. And it is normally not the case of one but MANY. Due to your inconsiderate behaviour many have to suffer. You are being totally IRRESPONSIBLE! I just don't understand what is the whole point of poisoning yourself for a slow death, burdening your family members with the medical bill. And also infecting the others around you. It is totally unfair, that 2nd hand smokers also have to suffer the health problems too!
