New blogSKIN! Looking at the old blogskin just makes me bored. Yawns. New skin and some updates. I don't want this place to rot.

The days were actually filled with activities, there are so much more to come when school starts. I am LOOKING forward to it. Fun is coming my way!

Starting with NICE PEOPLE!
Yesterday after work, on the MRT I was surprised by an aunty's kindness. She actually offered her seat to me... Normally we were suppose to offer our seats so when she actually offered her seat to me, I was momentarily stunned, as a result some lady just took the seat. I lost the seat to the lady but I was happy to know the that there were such kind people around.

I also came to realise that Caucasians are actually very polite and nice. They say things like "Have a nice day ahead.", "thank you very much, (with a big smile)", "How's your day?". These phrases might mean nothing but while working on an empty stomach and greeting every single person in sight, when someone actually replies you and even bother to say all these things actually make you very happy. It sort of help return a smile to your face which have been covered with tiredness. :)

Speaking about work. I finally got rotated to another outlet. I am very happy with it! The crew is so nice, it is all so fun. The only problem is that everyone working with me is a guy standing at the least of 1.7m. Therefore, they were very "concern" that I might not be able to reach the counter, as such repeatedly offering me a stool. Of course, I was not that short, therefore I do NOT need a stool and reach the counter comfortably. But I guess it can be forgiven given that they actually help me with the workload a lot. The whole atmosphere is also fun and relax. There is one that actually talk a lot cause he said he is too bored. Together with the other two, they were entertaining me. Time passed so fast there unlike the other outlets. I hope I will get to stay THERE!!!

Now to the fun part. Went off to SENOTSA on Monday and last Thursday. The attraction for last Thursday was the SONG OF THE SEA. Got to watch the new show as I went with the guests, my dad was generous with his buddy and family. The song of the sea show was not like anything else. The laser, water spray and fire display was nice. But the fireworks at the end was
(can't find a word). The fireworks were so up close. My dad's buddy love the show. He was so excited with the whole performance. The whole effect lit the skyline. The show was worth the money.

Monday, was SENTOSA with the group. Set off late of course, when we reach there it was already noon. I saw lots of my friends working as the staff. The sun was murderous as I came to realise, the after effect was a lot worse. My face is as dark as black. It is starting to peel too. Had fun in the sun, played soccer and lost, volleyball nearly broke my hand. Yet we couldn't even do a continuous 10. Failure... After a day in the sun, we flee to the dim and comfortable atmosphere of Fish n CO wheelock place. I finally ate something else cause I am so scared of the fish and chip.
